BEEJAY SAX

David Abolaji Banjoko, popularly called Beejay Sax is one of Nigeria’s most gifted and captivating musicians who has carved a niche for himself through ministering with his sax. He hails from Ogun State, the South western part of Nigeria, born into a family of four; he is the first son and the second child of Mr and Mrs Banjoko.

He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate turned saxophonist of Olabisi Onabanjo University, a professional musician with strong Christian ethics who decided to go into full time music ministry.

He joined the RCCG in 2000 and released his first album in year 2012 and his music style ranges from gospel, traditional jazz to contemporary African genre.

He has ministered as well in previous editions of the Marathon Messiah’s praise. He is Single and focused , he also enjoys travelling and watching movies.

He performed on the same stage with Buster Rhymes at d 2010 Canirivs (Rivers State Carnival), 2010 Lagos Kuramo International conference, Afromedia 50th Anniversary, and other notable Events around the Country.
He has built a reputation for himself in the Corporate World with reputable Organizations like United Bank for Africa (U.B.A), Flour mills, Nokia, Diamond Bank, Stanbic IBTC,Toyota, Vanguard, Lagos Business School, Mearsk Nig Ltd, and other prominent Corporate bodies in the Country.
He has performed several times as an Opening act for the famous Enigma “LAGBAJA” at the prestigious Motherlan’ and has also performed alongside the likes of D’banj, 9ice, P square, Top Comedians like; Ali Baba, Basket mouth, Gbenga Adeyinka, Tee A, Klint the drunk, De Don, Owen G, Top Gospel acts like; Bouqui, Rooftop Mcs, Midnite Crew, E-Ben, Big B, Soulplay, Psalmos and others.
He graduated from the Olabisi Onabanjo University with a distinction in Mechanical Engineering. A complete Gentleman, a distinguished Musician, who has the love of God at heart.
